Dawuda la Jabuuroo.
1 Hee Yaawe*, jumaa le si tara noo i batudulaa kono?
Jumaa le si sabati noo i la konko senuŋo* kaŋ?
2 Wo mu moo le ti meŋ baluuñaa maŋ sootaaroo soto,
aduŋ a kekuwolu ka tiliŋ ne,
a fokumoolu ka ke tooñaa le ti,
aniŋ konotoseneyaa.
3 A buka moo tiñaa a neŋo la,
aduŋ a buka kuu jawu ke a teeri la,
waraŋ ka jutunnayaa kuma fo a siiñoo ma.
4 A ka junubentuŋolu koŋ ne,
bari a ka moolu horoma le mennu ye Yaawe kuliyaa.
A ka a la laahidoo muta le,
a si dimiŋ a fee ñaa-wo-ñaa.
5 A buka a la kodoo dontolaa ka lankaŋo ñini,
aduŋ a buka dukoo muta ka moolu la boloo taa,
mennu maŋ kuu jawu ke.
Moo meŋ ka kuwolu taamandi teŋ,
wo te wutu la a noo to.
A Psalm of David.
1 LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
