Literacy For Young Girls and Women Project
his project is for everybody but with a special focus on the female gender. This project works hand in glove with the Bible translation projects.
Women and girls are a marginalized community, and creating the opportunity to read, write and count will impact them immensely in all spheres of their lives.
The Bible Society resorts to conducting literacy classes for all in a convenient environment bringing literacy to the doorsteps of the people with the Bible in their languages. This program increases the reading and writing abilities of the people and encourages spiritual growth and understanding of the message of Christ.
Classes are categorized into clusters to ensure the efficient running of these classes in the different regions.
