This project aims to address the need for audio Bible with the people in The Gambia, particularly those who cannot read well, people with visual disabilities, and those who have the full text of the scripture in their language that have a large number of people that are not able to read in their language. Providing the means by which the audio New Testaments in these languages, a listening group is formed for a smooth, easy and meaningful study of the Bible using the Proclaimer (a device where the Bible has been translated into audio format and stored). The project is in partnership with churches and mission organizations throughout the country.
